<\/p>\nBosses behind national bakery cafe chain Muffin Break are celebrating their Princes Quay store\u2019s impressive first six months of trading.<\/p>\n
The store, which opened in December and is located on Level 2 of the centre, next to Primark, specialises in freshly baked produce and high-quality coffee, has benefited from increased footfall at the centre and seen sales above average compared to others across the Muffin Break Group.<\/p>\n

Michelle Orr, Marketing Manager for the group, said:<\/p>\n
We have been overwhelmed with the welcome we have received from the people of Hull. The store is performing very well and we look forward to this carrying on into the future.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The cafe\u2019s positive trading performance is another success story for the centre, with other stores such as Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, Nando\u2019s and Primark reporting boosts in trading following the centre\u2019s 2017 redevelopment as a \u2018hybrid\u2019 shopping centre \u2013 with outlet and full priced shopping under one roof.<\/p>\n
Mrs Orr added:<\/p>\n
We were attracted to Princes Quay due to its strong line up of both outlet and high street brands. This retail mix has ensured strong footfall past our store and customer feedback so far has been very positive.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
John Magee, Princes\u00a0Quay\u2019s centre manager, welcomed the news. He said:<\/p>\n
Attracting a leading food and beverage operator such as Muffin Break was a real coup for Princes Quay, and it’s great to see that they’re performing so well.<\/p>\n
With the new developments in our food offering, we hope to attract a greater range of operators, whom I’m sure will enjoy similar success to Muffin Break.<\/p>\n
