Hundreds of spectators are expected at Cadwell Park this weekend as two of the best ever sidecar racers take to the track as part of one of the biggest celebrations of sidecar racing of the last decade.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Sponsored by Massingberd-Mundy Lincoln Red Beef, the \u200b\u200bInternational Sidecar Revival will feature the Hyundai Construction Equipment British Sidecar Championship and the world-renowned Camathias Cup.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Cadwell<\/span><\/p>\n

Ten-time world champion Steve Webster and seven-time world champion, Rolf Biland will take to the track as part of the full weekend of sidecar racing. The event, which takes place from Saturday 23rd June to Sunday 24th June, will also include a classic two-stroke grand prix with bikes from the 70s and early 80s replicating the GP grids from the \u2018golden era\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Cadwell<\/span><\/p>\n

The event is supported by Massingberd-Mundy Lincoln Red Beef, a vulnerable breed of cow that\u2019s being reared at the nearby South Ormsby Estate in the Lincolnshire Wolds. One of Britain\u2019s most ancient breeds, the Lincoln reds are listed as vulnerable by the Rare Breeds Society, but the sustainable farming practices of the estate is helping their numbers to recover. The estate is now home to over 250 Lincoln reds, which is one-third of the breed\u2019s entire population.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Cadwell<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will help to raise awareness of the cows\u2019 important role in local agriculture and the rural economy and it will give people the chance to sample the beef and learn about its unique qualities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mirroring the comeback of the Lincoln red breed, organiser Barry Nutley said that sidecar racing is also growing in popularity:<\/span><\/p>\n

You might not see them on the road much these days, but on the track, sidecar racing has been getting faster, louder and all the more hair-raising. You have a duo of racers working together to squeeze every second out of their bike as they throw themselves through chicanes and around hairpin bends at more than a hundred miles per hour. <\/span><\/p>\n

While the sport had a particularly golden era in the seventies and eighties, sidecar racing is still going strong today. It\u2019s great that, with the help of the South Ormsby Estates Massingberd-Mundy Lincoln Red Beef, we\u2019re able to bring the International Sidecar Revival to Lincolnshire. It\u2019s a breath-taking spectator sport and it\u2019s going to be a great weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
